NOTICE: Upcoming officer vacancies process for nominations:

Secretary and Treasurer

Section 6: Schedule

a. The nomination and election cycle will begin on March 1st of each Organizational Officer election year. Nominations for officer positions shall be received by the Nominating Committee no later than March 20th.

b. Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee shall be composed of two officers not scheduled for election, two members at large, and the Principal and/or Administrator of Syble Hopp School.

i. The Nominating Committee shall send a letter to all parent/guardians of Syble Hopp School students notifying them of an opportunity to serve on the Executive Board for the offices scheduled for election. The notice shall include the duties of these Executive Board officers.

ii. Parent/guardians who are interested will be given (10) days to respond to the Nominating Committee. Parents/guardians may also provide recommendations to the Nominating Committee who they believe would be qualified candidates to fill the offices.

iii. The Nominating Committee shall also pursue members they believe qualified to fill the offices up for election.

iv. The Nominating Committee will meet with all interested nominees to explain the requirements and duties of the position. Only those nominees who have consented to serve, if elected, shall be eligible for inclusion on the ballot.

v. The Nominating Committee shall present the slate of nominees to the members at the April general meeting.

c. Floor Nominations. Floor nominations will not be accepted at the April general meeting.

Our Mission

The Syble Hopp Parent Organization's mission is one of commitment to the children at Syble Hopp School. The parents are a fundraising organization with the goal of funding community-based experiences for our students. 

Being a part of the Syble Hopp School Parent Organization not only provides a means for your child's education, but also gives you opportunities to meet new friends, other parents going through similar situations and a resource pool like none other!
